Guild based on the Erollisi Marr server!
Ascension Alliance is a group of players that are
committed to advancing together as a guild and working together as part of a team. We are the perfect home for mature
players with busy lives because we respect the fact that you have RL time commitments and we understand that in
your valuable EQ time you want to be able to have fun and make real progress towards your goals!
Anyone who seeks a balance between regular raids and plenty of free time will fit in very well here. We are
not a pure raiding guild, nor do we gather together for pure social aspects. We are a fun and friendly guild that approaches
its objectives purposefully and professionally.
For example, we do not have planned raids every day and attendance is never mandatory,
however we enjoy tremendous participation in our raids. On the days we dont raid, we work on experience, quests, exploration,
tradeskills, whatever strikes our fancy, always keeping in mind that EQ is a game and it is supposed to be FUN!
2014
Update: Ascension Alliance was formed on April 17, 2002 and for the better part of the next 5 years, we enjoyed tremendous
success as a family-type raiding guild. We held regular raids with the initial purpose of gearing up our members and helping
them complete their epic 1.0. At our peak we were raiding Ssra, Vex Thal, NToV, and PoP and during this time we formed an
alliance with Ridgerunners, a similar guild with a similar purpose. We held many open raids and helped other players with
PoP progression and loot.
Today, the guild hall is still open but you are apt to find it very quiet as most of the active players moved to
other guilds several years ago. However, with the advent of Free to Play and Heroic Characters, we have seen some of our members
returning to the game and the guild they once loved. There are no regularly scheduled events at this time, just a group of
the best people you would ever want to meet and fight alongside in Norrath. Because so many of them are returning players,
this is the perfect home for anyone who is looking for a place to ease back into the game and "dust off the rust." Perhaps this is the casual, no-commitment environment you are looking for? If so, post a message
on the forums or look us up in game. We promise to be patient with you!
